Paula-Rose Bassett
I am honoured to be the Ngalaya & CBP First Nations Law Scholarship recipient for 2022. Not only has this offer significantly reduced financial stress associated with being a student, it has allowed me to devote most of my time to my final years of studies. I am certain that this will reflect positively in my university work and enable me to achieve the results I would like to graduate with. Additionally, the support, guidance and relationships that comes with such a partnership, particularly for the final duration of my degree, is an absolute blessing. It will help me to practically link the aspirations of my degree to my future practice. It is difficult to put into words how grateful I am for this support, but I just wanted to say thank you for providing peace amongst the chaos, and here is to getting another First Nations Student across the finish line!
